Compliance with Chinese Laws
Foreigners in China are required to register with the local authorities where they stay. A lot of foreigners who come to China may not know about this because hotels do this for you.
When you rent your own space, you need to register at the local police station, and in the Wudaokou area, your landlord must accompany you.

You need to complete this registration within 24 hours of changing where you stay in China. This means, for example, if you go home to your country for a visit and come back to your apartment in China, you will need to coordinate going to the police station to register with us. If you aren’t compliant with this, you can get in trouble and may be subject to fines.
One advantage of working with our company is that we can help you register with the appropriate local authorities. We can seamlessly coordinate this with your landlord and make it as painless as it gets.
Many of the other rental agencies in the Wudaokou area do not offer this service.
This police registration is a very quick and easy step, and the police officers who help with registration are usually very nice, but it’s necessary to remember to do it.
